Detect Defects in Paper & Plastic Webbing
Our EPIC high-speed web inspection system allows you to combine several web inspections into one automated quality system. Identify, measure and eliminate defects that can undermine the integrity of your webbed products including holes, damaged edges, perforation depth, splices, artwork, or misaligned/mis-layered webbing. For products with multiple layers, ensure layer and feature formation is correct as products are formed.
Our linescan technology combined with our proprietary software and lighting design is superior to other common web inspection systems because it reduces blur at high highspeeds and allows for inspection of features down to 1-2 millimeters in size. Quality can be inspected on 100% of the web at realtime speeds and precise features can be identified, measured, and signaled for reject tracking or web marking systems.

System Highlights
Improves web quality by inspecting every millimeter of high speed moving webs and accurately identify defects that can undermine web integrity, including:
- Defects that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
- Micron sized holes on plastic films measure micro holes (.080”) relative to art/graphics
- Perforation presence and depth
- Features as small as 1 millimeter across a ten foot wide web or measured in X/Y dimensions +/- 0.5mm, 1,100 ppm
- Holes/voids in continuous adhesives applied to paper backing including holes and voids in adhesive strips down to 1-2 millimeters
